ComparedBy.us is Not a Scam
ComparedBy.us is a new Paid-To-Review site. When ComparedBy.us started, many people were enticed in joining the site because of it’s large earning potential. But I think the admin soon realized that aside from the number of spammers, they cannot afford to pay for all the incentives that they offered. A lot of policy changes happened.
According to the recent member incentive plan, the first review bonus, together with the member referral bonus had been suspended. Each product is only limted to 10 reviews. In addition to that, review bonus for products in the Music, Movies and Books categories would only be paid $0.25 for the first 10 reviews effective January 16th, 2009.
Members had been assigned different roles. Rookies are limited to writing 10 reviews per month. Beginners are limited to 20 and Reviewers are limited to 60 reviews per month.
I was assigned to be a a “Reviewer”. I had been paid yesterday and here’s my proof of payment:

January 25th, 2009 at 9:56 pmI haven’t been paid yet. I joined first week of January and was able to make 19 reviews, mostly first and extended reviews. I’m waiting for my $36.25 from them. I hope they will pay me.

July 8th, 2009 at 11:18 pmFunny that this isn’t a scam. It’s one of the websites that’s installed into being a popup using malware to unsuspecting people’s computers. I know because after letting my daughter use my computer the other day this is one that kept coming up on our computer. Took me 8 hours to get rid of the malware that was totally jacking up my system.
I refuse to do business with anybody who does business with this company.
